Are You At NYU and Want to Discuss Pagan or Nature-Based Spiritualities?
Spiritual Service to the NYU Community
TRADITIONAL BELIEFS NOT WORKING ANY LONGER?
Sometimes formal religious practices or teachings no longer work for our needs.
FEEL SOMETHING IS MISSING IN YOUR LIFE?
Our felt sense of purpose sometimes needs to be explored more deeply.
WANT TO TALK ABOUT Spirituality But NOR SURE WITH WHOM?
It can be a challenge to speak about deep questions of purpose and meaning.
YOUR RELIGIOUS PRACTICES FEEL A BIT EMPTY?
Going through the motions we learned as a child may not be enough to nourish us.
WANT TO GO DEEPER, AND NOT SURE HOW TO START?
We often make sense of our experiences and need through talking them out.
WANT TO EXPLORE A PAGAN OR NATURE-BASED SPIRITUAL PATH?
Change can be difficult when we feel alone and need non-judgmental discernment.

Jeffrey Keefer, PhD
About Me
Jeffrey Keefer, Ph.D., is a Neo-Pagan Druid who serves as a New York University (NYU) Spiritual Life Advisor (Chaplain) for those who are interested in Modern Paganism (in all its many forms!), Nature-Based Spiritual Paths, and Eco-Spirituality.
He works with people who feel spiritually connected with nature, whether that is their primary spiritual or religious identity or one aspect of many in their approach to discovering their purpose.
Professionally, Jeffrey has taught graduate students at New York University since 2005, primarily focusing on research methodology, and he also works as an Educational Consultant. Jeffrey holds a Ph.D. in Educational Research, graduate degrees in Adult and Organizational Learning, Business Education, English and American Literature, and Religious Studies, and an undergraduate degree in Philosophy.
In his free time, Jeffrey edits Wikipedia, volunteers with the global Wikimedia community, and enjoys walking ancient pilgrimage routes along the Camino de Santiago.
