Twitter Challenge: Day 10 – Which App Do You Use?

OK, Sunday is often a sleepier day for many, so how about the last of our planned “new” tasks in learning Twitter in our challenge?

This one may take a little longer to try, so you may need some time today and tomorrow.

What application are you using for Twitter?

Most people start with the Twitter website itself, and perhaps the Twitter app on your mobile device. However, there are many, many other options out there that all do the same basics, yet they do it in ways that differ slightly for different needs. For example, you can use:
1. Tweetdeck – https://tweetdeck.twitter.com/ (Twitter bought this and gives it for free)
2. Hootsuite – https://hootsuite.com/ (they have a free version)
3. Twitterrific – https://twitterrific.com (Mac / iOS only, small fee for desktop, free for iOS)
4. Tweetbot – https://tapbots.com/tweetbot/ (Mac / iOS only, small fee) — this is what I personally use

You can continue using the free Twitter app and website, though I would encourage you to check these (or any of the many, many other apps) as they all add some core function that helps your Twitter experience.

So, Tribe, here are our Challenge Steps for today:

1. Try one of the Twitter apps above (or another of your choice). With it, then:

2. Post 2 original Tweets (use the #TribalSupport tag if it fits with personal or professional development).

3. Reply to at least 2 Tweets of others (use the #TribalSupport tag if it fits).

4. RT at least 2 Tweets of other people (from within #TribalSupport or via one of the other tags you have found).

Share how it goes below!

Remember, we are doing this challenge to Connect (with each other on Twitter via #TribalSupport), Engage (with a wider audience and via hashtags #), and Grow (outside our comfort zone by learning in public), then simple action steps that we repeat become good habits in our lives. These initial steps will help us to reach the challenge of this goal through step-by-step progression of using Twitter as a tool to help us and our professional interests.

Always remember, use the #TribalSupport tag some place in your Tweet so we can see each other (and try clicking on it to see parts of the conversation you may have missed!). Reply with any comments, questions, thoughts, or ideas as well!

This Twitter Challenge is formally happening within the Life Coach Tribal Support community, though as it occurs in public in Twitter, it is really viewable and open to anybody who wants to follow along or participate in it via the #TribalSupport tag.
